Core Competencies
A civil trial attorney since graduating from the University Of Miami School Of Law, Randy has experience in personal injury, aviation, medical malpractice, product liability, eminent domain, construction and utility law; including cases alleging damages ranging from breach of contract and property damage to wrongful death. In addition to trial work, Randy has had extensive experience managing relief and development programs, assisting families and communities impacted by disaster in the U.S. and abroad as a senior level manager with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and the American Red Cross. He has managed programs with annual budgets ranging to $100 million in support of communities recovering from a wide range of natural and human caused disasters, including: tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, economic crisis, and armed conflict.
Since 2012, Randy has been striving virtually full time in the defense of homeowners and other property owners facing the consequences of the unbridled greed and the syndicated, unethical and inequitable practices by many in the mortgage industry, including appraisers, mortgage brokers and banks. Many in that industry, in one way or another, colluding with each other to find many ways to “work the system” and, ultimately, profit when borrowers lose their properties to foreclosure.
An “AV” (Preeminent) rated litigator and senior manager with 30 years cumulative experience delivering successful results in state and U.S. courts and managing development and humanitarian assistance worldwide. Randy’s work has spread across Florida, arguing trials and hearings in: Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Key West and many of the Circuit Courts in between.
Randy is an avid public speaker, university lecturer, trainer, and writer; addressing topics including: Social Justice, Foreclosure, International Humanitarian Law, Disaster Management, Disaster Preparedness, Climate Change, Disaster Public Affairs, and Humanitarian Protection.
Randy has led public affairs and media relations efforts in crises, with local, national and international media and has actively participated as a member of governance boards for Church World Service, Foods Resource Bank and the Palm Beach County Chapter American Red Cross.
With a career focus on assisting vulnerable and disadvantaged people, Randy is now focusing on foreclosure defense and lifting up the rights of individuals and families impacted by negligent and wrongful conduct.
A U.S. citizen and former resident of Germany, Bulgaria, India, and Sri Lanka with extensive global work and travel experience Randy has a demonstrated ease of communication in diverse cultural and political environments. He is a native English speaker with a basic grasp of conversational German and rudimentary Bulgarian language competence.
